Serving the Native Communities of the Chugach Region
Child Care program assists families in accessing quality child care for children while parents work or enrolled in educational or training programs. In addition, the program informs parents of their child care options, can assist in identifying childcare providers, and assists with any necessary paperwork. Participants must reside within the Chugach Region (Cordova, Chenega, Seward, Tatitlek, Nanwalek, Port Graham, and Valdez).

Our vision is to revitalize the traditional Chugach Native culture and language. The goal is to make Sugpiaq/ Eyak history and heritage a part of the regular school curriculum with support and direction from our Elders’ traditional ecological knowledge (TEK).
