Cama’i! Chugachmiut will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025.
Jan Vanderpool, Executive Director, has approved the early closure of Chugachmiut offices and clinics on Friday, Jan. 17, at 3:30 p.m. For clinical staff and Village Public Safety Officers (VPSOs): Please follow on-call emergency procedures during the early closure and holiday.

Our vision is to revitalize the traditional Chugach Native culture and language. The goal is to make Sugpiaq/ Eyak history and heritage a part of the regular school curriculum with support and direction from our Elders’ traditional ecological knowledge (TEK).
