Chugachmiut will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2024, in observance of Christmas Day. We will resume regular business hours on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024.
Jan Vanderpool, Executive Director, has granted the early closure of Chugachmiut offices and clinics at 12:00 p.m. on Dec. 24, 2024. Clinical staff and VPSO’s, please continue to follow on-call emergency procedures during the early closure & holiday.

Our vision is to revitalize the traditional Chugach Native culture and language. The goal is to make Sugpiaq/ Eyak history and heritage a part of the regular school curriculum with support and direction from our Elders’ traditional ecological knowledge (TEK).
