Kodiak College Course – Alutiiq Language Learning Success Strategies - February 3, 2022
Chugachmiut Heritage Preservation is working with Kodiak College to recruit first-time college student participants for a one credit course called Alutiiq Language Learning Success Strategies and we’d appreciate your help in passing on this information. This is the last week to register, with the class available for registration up until 2/6/22.
Different topics that it would cover includes:
– Basic Alutiiq Language
– Goal Planning
– Online Learning Tips
– College Success Skills
This will be an 8-week course that starts February 7th through April and meets Mondays from 4-5:15 virtually. We would appreciate your help in letting your students or adults know about this opportunity as soon as possible.
If you are an Alaska Native/American Indian youth who has a Tribal Affiliation with the Chugach Region in grades 9-12 and are interested in this class, there also are scholarship opportunities through Chugachmiut with the Litnaurwik program.
