Position Summary:

 

Primary responsibilities include acting as liaison for the Community Health Representative (CHR) Program and community residents, providing and coordinating care for Elders (55 years of age and older) and other home bound individuals, coordinating community activities with the assistance of the village council or its representative, and providing outreach and assistance to individuals and families in the community.   This position will be under the guidance of Chugachmiut and will receive additional training, job development and general support from the Chugachmiut Health Services Division.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • High School education or equivalent.

Work Conditions:

 

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or a flex schedule when available with an hour for lunch, 37.5 hours per week. Chugachmiut maintains a drug/alcohol free and non-smoking environment. Travel by small aircraft to remote locations may be required.
